Rupert Slade is a British comedian, media professional, and longtime Budapest resident. He is the co-founder of Hot Paprika Comedy, a leading platform for English-language stand-up in Hungary. When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Rupert opened his home to people fleeing the war. As host of The People Story, he brought empathy, curiosity, and humor to deeply personal conversations with refugees, volunteers, and others whose lives were transformed by the conflict.
